Richard Selby-Boothroyd is Vice President of Hayle Old Cornwall Society, a trustee and Treasurer of Hayle Town Trust and of Harvey’s Foundry Trust (a major heritage and regeneration project in Hayle), parish clerk to the two rural parishes adjacent to Hayle, and a Church of England ordinand.

He is a member of the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings. He has worked on a wide range of structures and is an acknowledged expert in restoration.
